Book 27 March: A Strangeness in My Mind by Orhan Pamuk

Orhan Pamuk is one of the author both my wife and I crave to read. We are always waiting for something new, he really brings us to a world we love to read about.

My wife loves "The Museum of Innocence" and I adore "A Strangeness in My Mind". So, while she is busy thinking about her own review of the former,I am going to write about the latter and the incredible feeling it gave and left me with.

A Strangeness in My Mind by Orhan Pamuk

The story and yes, it is a spoiler alert, but it does not matter because Pamuk books are about themselves, about the atmosphere they create and how they make your mind drift there in space and time... sorry I drifted... I mean the story is about a Turkish yogurt (boza) seller in the street of an ever changing and never changing Istanbul, its life around and along the main character and his life. It is pretty simple said in this way right? Well... it is. And it is not too. The book is much much more. It will make you live along this normal man, with his flaws and his love for his own city, the one in his mind, the one that with time is no more.

I recommend because when I turned the last page, when the book was over I found myself thinking about the man, Mevlut, and what he was doing in that moment.
