The Trilogy of The City of K, is one of the most mesmerizing book you could read. Written in French by the Hungarian Agota Kristof is a collection of 3 novels: The Notebook, The Proof and The Third Lie.
It's an enchanting story of truths and lies written in an unique style. It is the about the effects of war and about people alike, about growing while trying to understand who you are and being who you are. Two twins are the protagonists and you will follow their strange lives, doubting yourself and what you are reading.
I can't and don't want to tell you more, both my wife and I loved it without knowing much before reading it, and I would like to think of you doing the same.

'Kristof wrote a masterpiece worth reading', he said. It was definitely right. So even if I am not your friends, do as we did and pick it up from any bookstore or library and 'dive' yourself in a strange world.
